Personal Description:

I am a third year University of Queensland student in a dual degree: Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts. I am passionate about teaching children and adolescents within the field of English, Mandarin and Maths.

 Support teachers with clerical work and classroom activities
 Provide individual attention to students in need
 Organise and assist with developing teaching content

Beenleigh Special School, University Placement Program (May 2016)
 Work with students with physical and developmental disabilities
 Care for special students and guide them with patience

Beenleigh State High School, University Placement Program (October 2016)
 Provide students with one-on-one tutoring
 Facilitate small group activities

Tutoring Approach:

As an education student, I have a deep understanding for the pedagogy and national curriculum in Australia. My initial approach to tuition is to spend quality time understanding what my students need and what they strive for in their schooling career. Through this mutual acknowledgement, I am then able to develop lesson plans based on what they are struggling with. My teaching styles provide students with fun yet challenging lesson plans.
