Personal Description:

¡Hola a todos! Me llamo Rodri, soy de Valencia (España). I am a PhD qualified teacher with experience in England, Brazil and Australia. I can teach all the levels, needs, from basic Spanish to advanced levels. Besides, I am DELE examiner, so I may help you if you need to take the DELE exam.

Tuition Experience:

I have been teaching in different settings. Firstly, I have been a Spanish language high school teacher in the UK for some years. Then, because of my PhD in Spanish language, I moved to Brazil where I taught for three years in a university. Currently, I am a private teacher and lecturer in Melbourne, having taught to more than 100 students.

Tutoring Approach:

As a certified teacher, I believe that students are all different when it comes to learning styles. Depending on your needs I will adapt my teaching. As a Spanish language native speaker and bilingual of English, I know what the main mistakes for an English speaker are, so just try to enjoy the lessons and not to worry about mistakes.

I try to use methods focusing on improving writing, reading, listening and speaking skills. My methods differ from some classic photocopies, to real texts in Spanish language such as articles, videos, songs, games and apps
