Personal Description:

My name is Niharika, and am a year 12 graduate student currently pursuing IT at Monash University. I love working with children and teaching them and am sure that I can contribute largely to help them learn and excel.

As a tutor, my primary goal is to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student. I begin by understanding the student’s current level of knowledge, strengths, and areas for improvement. Based on the initial assessment, I create a tailored learning plan that aligns with the student's goals. This plan includes clear, achievable objectives and a timeline for reaching them. I focus on ensuring that students have a strong grasp of fundamental concepts before moving on to more advanced topics. I encourage students to think critically and independently. By asking open-ended questions and promoting problem-solving skills, I help students develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I also provide regular feedback to students on their progress and adjust the learning plan as needed.
