Personal Description:
A few years ago, we moved from Germany to Australia, and since then, I have been teaching German to kids, HSC, VCE, IB as well as university students, and adults, with or without any knowledge of the language; for fun, for school or for business purpose.

I am a native speaker with extensive experience teaching small and large groups and one-on-one with kids and adults. My lessons are customised to suit your purpose whether it be for academic requirements or just for fun. I look forward to letting everybody know how great the German language is!
Tuition Experience:
Having a degree in Business Economics I used to work at the University of Siegen as a lecturer, supervisor, research fellow, and proofreader, and I also taught students how to write term papers and diploma theses, how to present their essays, and to give speeches in front of an audience.
In Australia, I have extensive experience with teaching small groups, kids' as well as adults' classes, with individual teaching of adults as well as children.

Using practical online education tools and fun exercises, making his learning something he looks forward to every week. Her communication was excellent, in both arranging and delivering the tuition. She demonstrates a deep understanding of the grammar and syntax of the language and was able to teach this in an easily understandable way. Nadia has an extraordinary grasp of the rules which govern the grammar of the German language and is able to explain these in a way which makes sense to the student. She's not one to shirk from a laugh or an interesting conversation, which definitely adds great value to all her lessons.

From Emilie (/5): I've studied german on and off over the years however had become lazy in my grammar, and I desired the ability to confidently read a german text or watch a movie with greater comprehension. Nadia is able to meet me where I am and set a course to suit my needs. She keeps it fun, works at my pace, and when I'm stuck on something she is able to expertly explain another way of understanding. I have two sisters who are also thinking about joining with Nadia soon because they can already see the changes!

Nadia is patient, knowledgeable, interested in language and speaks German in a way the rank beginner like myself can (mostly) understand. She is really good at making sure each lesson delivers the right mix of challenge, instruction and fun that encourages the student that constant progress is being made (no matter how many grammatical and syntactical errors are made each session). Nadia is an excellent tutor, who invest so much effort in ensuring lessons are planned and a good learning experience is achieved. Nadia plans the lessons individually tailored to whatever needs you may have and for all levels. Overall I find Nadia to be a pleasant individual with her lessons being fun, interactive and highly engaging, I highly recommend Nadia as a Tutor!

Our first session was great and I didn't feel self conscious as she is such a great teacher and we had fun with the subjects. I am looking forward to many more sessions with her.
From Emily (/5): I am so lucky I found Nadia on the First Tutor’s site, after an **E-mail Address Removed**search for German Tutors catering to students at a Tertiary level. Nadia is an amazing tutor. She is punctual, enthusiastic, always prepared and truly a font of knowledge. It was time to find a new perspective on how to tackle the topics I struggled with most, and Nadia delivered. She excels at breaking complex concepts down to their bare fundamentals and providing examples that are easily understood. I was provided with plenty of content and worksheets that complemented my sessions, so that I could practice in my own time. Apart from one-on-one tutoring, I organised a group study session with Nadia and a few of my classmates in preparation for our exam. She reviewed our past exam papers, and prepared activities and materials that would best help us prepare. We had never left a German exam feeling so confident in our performance, and that was thanks to Nadia. After 2 months under Nadia’s tutelage, my marks showed a significant and rapid improvement. I would highly recommend Nadia to students of German at any level.
