Personal Description:
I am Melissa, currently a first year Medical student at Bond University. I graduated from Macrobertson Girls' High School in 2024 studying VCE. In 2023, I have completed VCE subjects General Maths and Physics, then in 2024, Maths Methods, Chemistry, Japanese Second Language and English Language (I will not be teaching this subject).
Tuition Experience:
I have been doing one-on-one tutoring since 2022. I have experience in teaching various ages fom Primary school to High school students. I especially taught in subjects such as English and Maths. I have experience both in person and online.
Tutoring Approach:
I priorise effective communication. Starting with a brief revision from past content, learning new content and then tackling various questions to gain exposure to better understand the content. Throughout the lesson I will constantly seek confirmation in the student's learning, I thrive to make things engaging so students can stay motivated and focused. My goal is for the student to have a clearer understanding and enjoyment in learning the subject.
