I was surprised when you messaged me after the session to ask if it was free and whether or not you should pay me. A free hour long lesson was not discussed before the session.
Regarding the lesson:
- All of my resources and notes are on my laptop because I find having them all printed impractical. I always use dual coding during my teaching as I find that this reinforces key learning points and helps fix misunderstandings. My aim for the lesson was to complement the lessons that your daughter receives at her school and fill in any gaps in her knowledge.
- We agreed after the session to follow your suggestion of assessing your daughter in three to four weeks when she was more familiar with the text, An Inspector Calls, as she had two session studying it at this point.
- There wasn’t a request for any homework after the lesson.
We are really pleased with the help he is getting from Lucy
