Personal Description:
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher currently teaching Kindy. I am caring, hardworking and diligent with anything I set my mind to. I have a passion for music and reading.
Tuition Experience:
I have experience teaching all levels in Primary School including children who require additional support. I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor Degree in Primary School Teaching in Ireland. I taught in Ireland for 4 years before moving to Brisbane at the end of last year.
I volunteered for a month while I was in college in Uganda where I taught English, Maths and Human Resources. I am also a qualified piano teacher. I have taught piano in the past and have led school choirs - this is my passion!
Tutoring Approach:
Tutoring is a great way to build a childs confidence in their educational experience. I like to get to know the children, make them feel comfortable where they know it is acceptable to make mistakes because this is how we learn and improve. I prefer tutoring on a one-to-one basis, I think this is more beneficial for children but I am also happy to tutor online if this is more suitable. I believe that all children learn in different ways, I work with parents and get to know the children to figure out what way they learn best.
