Personal Description:

I am currently a university student studying economics in Australia but I've been a part time language teacher for quite a long time. I can teach both Mandarin and Cantonese. With my own experience when I learnt English and French, I know how to make the language learning fun and efficient. I hope to my students can enjoy learning with me as well as achiving their goals!

Tuition Experience:

I've been teaching students from 5-12 to help them understand better the grammar and remembering charactars, also helping adult students to have a better pronunciation. It's my greatest joy to see students achieve their goals.
With students want to take an exam with HSK, I have designed lessons for different levels of exam requirments.

Tutoring Approach:

I utilise interactive teaching methods and activities to motivate students to learn and communicate in Chinese. I believe that language development happens through social interaction and guided assistance, so that teacher and students have to work together to co-construct meaning in context.
In classroom methodology such as game learning methods e.g.large and small vocal practice methods, sound transmission for thousands of miles to consolidate new words, gesture rhythm aided memory.

Language is the carrier of culture, I believe culture is a crucial concept in language teaching, I will introduce aspects of Chinese culture to my students and reinforce their understanding of the language.
