Information about Hassan - Thomastown tutor

Personal Description:

Hello there! My name is Hassan (most people call me Huss) and I am a newly enrolled Medical Student commencing his course in 2025. Prior to this, I completed a 4-year Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree (with Honours), and prior to that graduated from high school in 2019. I am someone who has long tried their best to uphold qualities of kindness, patience, and understanding, which I believe are essential to every aspect of someone's life. I enjoy creating art, whether it's music, drawings, or video edits, and I currently volunteer at two Melbourne-based hospitals.

Tuition Experience:

I have a been a tutor for over three years, through a combination of online tutoring with Cluey Learning, as well as private tutoring sessions (online and in-person). Throughout these years, I have honed in on my interpersonal skills in order to deliver tuition that prioritises student comfort above all else; I strongly believe that creating a safe environment for students is the most important aspect in ensuring prolonged and consistent progress.

Tutoring Approach:

As stated above, my priority in my sessions is ensuring that my students feel comfortable throughout: comfortable to ask questions, comfortable to admit when they are struggling to understand, and comfortable to give any question an honest attempt. It is a genuine goal of mine to ensure that the environment my students learn in is safe, productive, and facilitative towards their own style of learning. As someone who is well-versed in technology, I am able to tutor via a blend of iPad-based note-taking, practice questions, and more. Furthermore, as someone who has a general knowledge across many topics outside of academia (music, movies, video games), I am able to establish a professional yet friendly with my students that make them more comfortable with their choice of tutor.
