Personal Description:
I am an experienced, senior teacher and HOD with a passion for creating a positive learning environment for all students. I have taught in a variety of settings within London, Australia and the Seychelles. My speciality areas include Business studies (IB, QCAA, Cambridge International Exam Board and AQA experience - Secondary and Tertiary), Health and Physical Education (including IB SEHS) , junior Maths and ICT. I am well prepared for online tuition and can assist during this difficult time for students to ensure they are prepared for all upcoming assessment.
Tuition Experience:
I have 9 years of teaching and 9 years of private tuition experience in London, Australia and the Seychelles. Prior to this, I was a schools development coordinator involved with enhancing learning outcomes for disadvantaged youth.
Tutoring Approach:
Providing students with the confidence and tools to succeed is a primary focus of mine. I create a structured and purposeful approach to all tutoring sessions - while engaging higher order thinking strategies. I set high, yet achievable expectations and develop goals with parents and their child/children. I build positive and professional relationships with all of my students to assist with enhancing confidence in their abilities.

They worked together throughout the Christmas holidays, Dion gave up time during his family holiday to help Otto who had an Sports Science exam on January 15th. Dion built his confidence and knowledge and hopefully Otto will have got the grade he was working toward.
