Personal Description:
I have taught or tutored for almost 20 years. I am currently working in an office position and I really miss the interaction with students and assisting them in their learning. I find teaching rewarding and am looking forward to working with you to improve your skills.
Tuition Experience:
I am a qualified teacher who lived and taught English in Taiwan for 6 years. I taught kindergarten age to senior high school students. I have also taught adult classes at a language school in Brisbane. Recently I managed a tuition centre specialising in English and Maths for 3 and a half years.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching is very systematic and methodical. I adapt my teaching style to that of my student's age and ability and like to incorporate fun activities for the younger learners to cement learning. I teach not only subject content, but also skills to enhance learning. I am comfortable tutoring young students as well as adults.
