Personal Description:
My name is Casey and I am a qualified Primary Teacher. My passion is helping my students to enjoy and succeed in their learning.
Tuition Experience:
I have nine year teaching experience. I have taught in all year levels from grade 1 to grade 6. My passion is to help students achieve the goals and help them at their point of need. I believe all students have the potential to learn and I love to help them find confidence and independence in their learning.
Tutoring Approach:
Literacy- I am trained in the phonics program Sounds Write. Sounds-Write is a proven speech-to-print phonics program based on the science of reading. I have used Sounds- Write to gain incredible results from grades prep to six.
Maths- based on students learning needs I am able to create intervention plans to develop understanding of Mathematical concepts. I use a range of hands on, fluency and challenging tasks to help students gain confidence and understanding in maths.
