Personal Description:

I am and always have been passionate about teaching. Education is essential in understanding the world around us whilst heightening our skills and abilities. Mathematics, English and essay writing are all areas that I am passionate and trained within. I am a highly adaptive teacher that is able to critically understand a students short comings and adapt my teaching to help heighten their abilities. Positivity, confidence building and consistent practice with scaffolding are essential for success.

I strive on setting high expectations to obtain the best from students I work with.

Tuition Experience:

I have been teaching for the last 10 years in both primary and secondary schools. I have also tutored students during this time and whilst studying in university. I have taught in both private and state schools throughout Queensland (mainly Gold Coast) and the UK (London). I have experience in teaching and leading through K-12 and A levels in the UK.

Tutoring Approach:

I am highly trained in evaluating students current abilities and being able to guide and facilitate learning according to their needs. I am knowledgeable in current curriculum and examination requirements and am able to help students with both materials and questions to further extend their learning. I will work closely to needs that students, parents and their current teachers may require whilst further developing their skills. I have an array if resource material I am also able to use.

I can provide learning and revision strategies, homework, test and revision material and skills to help access classroom learning.
