Personal Description:

I am a qualified Secondary English Teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree in English. I provide specialised Senior Secondary English Tuition to students in Grades 10 - 12.

I am friendly, patient, have a good sense of humour and strong rapport building skills with students. I offer excellent support to students and help clear up the confusion they may be facing in relation to the expectations of their essay writing in Grade 10, 11 and 12 English. I pride myself on being more than just a tutor as I ensure every student achieves their best and my students know I am beside them on this journey. With my background in Psychology, I provide my students with the emotional support to re-build their confidence in their essay writing and the support strategies for students to manage their stress levels during their senior years of schooling.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a history of achieving excellent results promptly with students from a variety of private and public schools. Previous students have demonstrated dramatic improvement, with many students improving from a starting point of a 'C/B' average and completing Year 12 studies with an improvement of 1-2 grades above their average. Others have joined me on a B+/A average and completed their Year 12 with outstanding results.

My tuition process involves a highly developed and individually tailored program, ensuring student and parent satisfaction with the tuition process and results achieved. My lesson plans are developed weekly for the individual student and are based on the specific areas the student needs support, in order to achieve the best results for their assessment.

I provide a flexible structure with weekly or fortnightly lessons in person or via online education.
