Information about Bronwyn - Bicton tutor

Personal Description:

I am an English teacher with over 20 years' experience. Besides being interested in books and writing, I also have an interest in history, the arts, the environment, science and ethical AI.

Tuition Experience:

I have taught at schools in Australia and the United Kingdom, worked in universities as a tutor and researcher and have been tutoring since the late 1990s (I completed a Graduate Diploma in Education in 1999 at the University of Western Australia, to qualify me as both an English and ESL teacher, and have a comparative literature degree from Murdoch University 1996-1998). I also have an MA in International Development from Murdoch University, and a Master in Counselling Degree from Monash University. I have had a working with children check for over 10 years.

Tutoring Approach:

Am open to working with students from all backgrounds and abilities, however typically most of the students I see are high achievers. I am predominantly student-centred, aiming to make the student a lifelong learner and maximise their potential, however also follow the school curriculum and help them achieve the marks they so wish.
