Student Engagement - I have taught students from Australian, New Zealand, India, China, South-East Asia and South America and developed the skill and ability to ensure they understand the content and its’ application by utilising different delivery methodologies. I have achieved excellent student feedback, being consistently rated as 4.5 to 4.6 out of 5, with a number of complimentary statements from students and from the head of the course. In the most recent student survey, my teaching was rated as 'expectional' by students.

Tutoring Approach:
My students are my total focus. I assist them to develop the deep understanding of the topic needed to confidently answer exam questions.
The collaborative environment is based on mutual respect where the student is encouraged to understand, think and reflect on the topic in an applied situation. 121 personal tutoring creates the ability for students to resolve any barriers to learning and lays the foundations for a deep and lasting understanding of the topic.
My approach is tailored to the individual’s learning style that encourages students to think for themselves and applying the concepts to the real-world. I start with the foundation content and move towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to continually check their understanding.
I focus on exam questions to check, practice and perfect the student’s understanding and techniques. And include the vital skills such as essay structure, logical thought, and the effective use of numbers and graphs to strengthen the student’s presentation abilities.
I am passionate about the value of 121 tutoring and take satisfaction in seeing students achieve and exceed their potential.
And please note tutoring rates are exclusive of GST, and any textbooks or prescribed reading material that needs to be purchased.
